As you probably know, ethics is a branch of philosophy that deals with the critical reflection on morally correct actions. A very nice definition, but what does this actually mean for you as an internal auditor? And how does ethics relate to integrity? During this training, we will unravel these concepts. We will reflect on different ethical views on morally correct behaviour and the relationship between ethics and integrity.
The principles and standards relating to ethics and professionalism in the Global Internal Audit Standards (GIAS) form an important component of the moral compass of the internal auditor. Every internal auditor should be familiar with these principles and standards and act in accordance with them. That is why, in this training, we will take a closer look at these principles and standards.

It may sound easy but acting with integrity requires the necessary moral courage. As an internal auditor, you need to be able to recognise the critical moments when moral courage is required and come up with ways to act courageously.
During the training, we will provide you with a number of tools for this.
Integrity is a personal characteristic. The choices someone makes every day determine the extent of their integrity. This means that, while organisations can never enforce integrity, they can encourage it. To this end, they can take various measures and it is important that you, as an internal auditor, are familiar with these measures and can form a judgement on them. With this in mind, we offer you a number of useful reference frameworks during the training.

This course is part of the complete moral fitness programme for internal auditors — helping professionals to recognise moral dilemmas, form well-reasoned moral judgements, and act accordingly. Une formation est éligible au CPF dès lors qu’elle se conclue par une certification professionnelle enregistrée au RNCP ou au répertoire spécifique et qu’elle est portée par un organisme français. L’IFACI vous propose des certifications individuelles portées par l’IIA, reconnues par la profession, mais qui ne sont pas enregistrées auprès de l’Etat Français. C’est pourquoi nos formations ne sont pas éligibles au CPF. D’autres solutions de financement peuvent toutefois être mobilisées selon votre situation (employeur, France Travail, région…).
